Let's face it, there aren't a whole lot of question marks surrounding the Super Bowl Champion Philadelphia Eagles heading into the 2018 season. Most of the position groups are already set and they are in a pretty good position to contend once again and defend the crown.
If there is one big storyline and concern, it's Carson Wentz, who as of the last couple days, has been practicing pretty well without showing signs of injury.
Still, Wentz has yet to be cleared to resume football activities and for training camp, that means Head Coach Doug Pederson and the training staff need to be prepared for anything that may happen. If Wentz is unable to play Week 1, the Eagles must need Nick Foles to be ready to play with his teammates and prepared to go full force into the season.
According to NBC Sports Philadelphia's Dave Zangaro, Pederson is prepared to split time between Wentz and Foles with the first-team during training camp later this summer.
Doug Pederson says he can see a scenario where Nick Foles and Carson Wentz split first-team reps in training camp. Can help make sure WRs are comfortable with both. #Eagles

While Wentz is still looking like he will be ready to play on Opening Night, the Eagles still have to be safe barring any setbacks to the ACL injury.
“Go back to my first year, we were trying to get all three guys equal reps going through the first couple weeks of training camp,” Pederson said. “It’s going to be maybe the same type of thing, where Nick and Carson are working with the ones, working with the starters. We’re not losing a lot of that valuable time.”
It's clear that this is still Wentz's team despite Foles being the hero of Super Bowl LII, but the team needs a suitable quarterback that knows the first-team inside-and-out for the beginning of the season.
