As we saw from the preseason games, the Eagles have quite a bit of depth on their roster.
While the Eagles by no means appeared to be unbeatable, they had some pretty good plays, even against other team’s starters. That is what is most important for a team like the Eagles who barely played their starters outside of a few game three drives.
Having that depth makes cutting the 90-man roster down to 53 that much more difficult as the team will certainly be cutting loose guy who can contribute now or in the future.

The Eagles will run with the following 53-man roster to start the 2019 season.

After the moves Friday, the roster stood at 65 players. The final cuts were:
