The Eagles signed three players to their practice squad earlier today.
Adam Caplan of Fox Sports reports that Sue Opeta will be signing with the Eagles practice squad.

Opeta was fairly impressive, but was very raw. He will be the Eagles next offensive line project and arguably the best prospect for the interior of the line in quite some years.
Mike Kaye of NJ.com also reports that the Eagles are signing tight end Alex Ellis and linebacker Alex Singleton.

Ellis signed late with the Eagles, but he was impressive in the preseason, both in the passing game and in the special teams. Not to mention his blocking.
The Eagles kept only two tight ends on their initial 53-man roster, so smart money is on that the team is looking to re-sign Josh Perkins following a move like placing Cre’Von LeBlanc on the injured reserve. Ellis provides a backup plan if Perkins goes elsewhere.
Singleton, meanwhile, was impressive in the preseason and the former CFL star provides an excellent developmental prospect who could easily join the 53-man later this season or in 2020.
Singleton has a career in the CFL to fall back on if he should want to, so it is a bit surprising to see him willing to sign with the practice squad, where he’ll make less, to chase the dream of making it in the NFL.
The Eagles practice squad now stands at six with the following players:
Quarterback: Kyle Lauletta
Running Back: Boston Scott
Tight End: Alex Ellis
Wide Receiver: Marcus Green
Offensive Lineman: Sue Opeta
Linebacker: Alex Singleton
