With just over 24 hours remaining until kickoff on the 2016 regular season for the Eagles, their roster still sat at 52. But on Saturday morning, the Eagles filled in the final spot.
Linebacker Najee Goode returns to the Eagles, as he was re-signed and claims the final spot on the 53-man roster.
Goode is entering his fourth season with the Eagles — though he only played in one game in 2014. Last season, Goode had 11 tackles and returned a blocked punt for a touchdown in 14 games.
Goode also played in 14 games in 2013, recording 21 tackles, one sack and one fumble recovery.
With Goode's addition to the roster, the Eagles will carry six linebackers on the roster.
