The announcement of the 53-man roster on Saturday's deadline was anything but final, especially given the events of Saturday morning and the sudden trade of Sam Bradford.
With that in mind, the Eagles used Sunday to make three roster moves by claiming three players off waivers and releasing three others.
Safety Terrence Brooks, linebacker Kamu Grugier-Hill and wide receiver Bryce Treggs were claimed off waivers by the Eagles. To make room on the roster, the Eagles released defensive tackle Taylor Hart, cornerback C.J. Smith and wide receiver Paul Turner.
Brooks played the last two seasons with the Baltimore Ravens, appearing in 23 games and recording 27 tackles. The Florida State product was a third-round pick of the Ravens in 2014.
Grugier-Hill was a sixth-round draft of the New England Patriots this season after playing 49 games at Eastern Illinois. Last season, Grugier-Hill started in 10 games, recording 70 tackles including 16.5 for loss and 6.5 sacks.
Treggs signed with the San Francisco 49ers as an undrafted free agent this season. The Cal product finished his college career with 195 total catches for 2,506 yards and 15 touchdowns in 46 games.
The Eagles also added five players to the practice squad. Guard Darrell Greene, running back Byron Marshall, defensive tackle Aziz Shittu and wide receiver Marcus Johnson and David Watford will join the practice squad.
Doug Pederson is expected to speak to the media on Monday morning to address the weekend's decisions on trading Bradford, making roster cuts and the starting quarterback role.
