The Philadelphia Eagles added Alshon Jeffery and Torrey Smith, signed offensive lineman Chance Warmack and brought Steven Wisniewski back on a three-year deal last week. In doing so, they got themselves strapped to the waist in terms of cap space, keeping them from being able to re-sign a guy like Bennie Logan, who is now headed to Kansas City.
On Sunday, they got some cap relief from Zach Ertz's contract, restructuring his deal so that a part of his salary turns into a roster bonus, saving the team some money this year.

Per CSNPhilly.com, Ertz was set to have a base salary of $4 million with a total cap hit of $5.6 million. The restructuring spreads the cap hit out over a longer period of time while Ertz will get his money now.
