Another day, another coach.
The SEC Network’s Cole Cubelic is reporting that Joe Pannunzio will be taking a job with the Eagles, though the exact position has not yet been made clear.

Pannunzio could possibly be taking over as the new assistant wide receivers coach following the promotion of Carson Walch yesterday.
This will be his second stint with the team as he served as the Eagles director of personnel operations from 2015-2016. He entered in at the time Chip Kelly took over the personnel department, so it is a bit odd to see him back, possibly in an administration role rather than a coaching role.
While his most recent position was as a running backs coach for Alabama, he has also spent time in tight end and special teams coaching positions as well as time as the director of football operations for the Crimson Tide.
His most frequent coaching positions are that of tight ends and special teams coach, a position he held at TCU, Miami, Minnesota, Auburn and Mississippi. He was also the head coach of Murray State for six seasons.
As running backs coach for Alabama, he worked with Josh Jacobs and Damien Harris last season – two running backs that the Birds could look to draft in a couple months. The duo are arguably the two best backs in this year’s draft and are projected to go in the late-first round or the second round – an area where the Eagles have three picks.
The defensive line coach position remains vacant.
Pannunzio joins Roy Istvan, G.J. Kinne and Matt Burke as the new coaches on the staff for the 2019 season.
