Howie Roseman doesn't waste much time, and he is definitely taking his job seriously. On Saturday morning, the Eagles announced that Alshon Jeffery won't be going anywhere else anytime soon.
Jeffery has signed a new 4-year, $52 million extension to remain in Philadelphia.

The deal, as stated above, includes $27 million guaranteed.
Jeffery has been a productive and target for Carson Wentz this season, compiling 527 yards on 36 catches with six touchdowns through the first 11 games of the season.
Jeffery was signed in March by the Eagles on a one-year, $14 million contract to become Wentz's primary target and a big weapon in the QB's second season as starting quarterback.
The Eagles' offense has been fantastic this season, scoring at least 23 points in nine straight games, and at least 20 points every game this season en route to a league's best 10-1 record, with a chance to clinch the NFC East on Sunday night vs. the Seahawks.
According to Jason La Canfora, the Eagles may also be in the process of extending defensive end Brandon Graham as well.

The Jeffery re-signing, mixed with all the other moves that has brought the Birds back to prominence makes Howie Roseman the sure-fire frontrunner for Executive of the Year.
