All three of the Eagles most glaring needs were on full display on Sunday.
They still lack weapons at wide receiver. They still don't have a shutdown cornerback and desperately need players at the position. And most of all, they lacked depth on the offensive line.
Injuries have decimated the Eagles offensive line this season and that has only become worse in the wake of Lane Johnson's suspension.
Sunday will be Johnson's last game of the 10-game suspension, but with Brandon Brooks missing two straight games with illness, Allen Barbre and Halapoulivaati Vaitai injured, Jason Peters and Jason Kelce aging, it left players like Isaac Seumalo and Matt Tobin in for crucial plays.
Seumalo hasn't played poorly in his limited starting time, but Tobin, who is the fourth right tackle the Eagles have used this season, was hurting before the final play of the game that led to a strip sack of Carson Wentz. Tobin was placed on season-ending IR on Monday, sending the Eagles deeper into a depth pool of linemen that isn't there.
It's already well established that the Eagles have more holes to fill than ways to add players this offseason. That said, they have to find a way to at least address all three positions in the offseason.
Only now, the offensive line is becoming a growing area of need. The Eagles have five established starters. And then…that's where the Eagles need improvement.
The Eagles have proven they can find potential starter material in a fifth-round pick. Some of the mid-round picks they have should go towards addressing similar needs.
It's a growing list of concerns and areas to target this offseason for the Eagles, but as long as they continue to be a visible problem, it's a concern that isn't going away easily.
