Amid all the talking points from off the field today, there was on-the-field action for the Eagles on the first day of OTAs.
The first-team offense featured Sam Bradford at quarterback, Kenjon Barner at running back, Nelson Agholor and Jordan Matthews at wide receiver and Zach Ertz and Brent Celek at tight end. The offensive line was made up of, from left tackle to right tackle, Jason Peters, Allen Barbre, Jason Kelce, Brandon Brooks and Lane Johnson.
The first-team defense had Vinny Curry, Bennie Logan, Taylor Hart and Connor Barwin on the defensive line. Mychal Kendricks, Najee Goode and Nigel Bradham were the first-team linebackers. Leodis McKelvin, Malcolm Jenkins, Rodney McLeod and Eric Rowe made up the secondary.
Here are some news and notes from Day 1.
Bradford, Carson Wentz and Chase Daniel took equal reps on Day 1. First, a look at Bradford, who struggled early, but recovered nicely to have a solid day.

Bradford completes five of his last six passes. Barner dropped final pass of that rotation. #Eagles

Wentz showed some flaws — an incompletion on a screen, an interception — but had a solid first day in the field. This wasn't much of a chance to see how he will adjust to game speed and more about his raw talent and abilities. He showed them off for sure.
The one observation of Carson Wentz I have that repeats itself with every throw is just how the ball jumps out of his hand. #ThrowingDarts

Carson Wentz just has a way of putting the ball right where it needs to be. Accuracy better even than what I remember from his tape. #Eagles

Carson Wentz is so much better than Chase Daniel it's not even funny.

Newcomers Leodis McKelvin and Rodney McLeod had solid days in the secondary, bringing an added energy to drills.
Leodis McKelvin just leaped to knock a Bradford pass away, then talked trash all the way back to the huddle.

Rodney McLeod jumps the route, intercepts Bradford pass intended for Matthews and returns it for a TD. #Eagles

Been a long time since we've seen the kind of aggression in the secondary that we saw today from Rodney McLeod, Leodis McKelvin. #Eagles

Denzel Rice had a solid day as well.
Denzel rice intercepts Wentz. Wentz actually tried to make a play and push him out of bounds. #Eagles

Two forced fumbles and an INT for Rice today #Eagles

For many of the offensive drills, Josh Huff and Agholor played on the outside with Matthews lining up in the slot. Huff saw some time in the slot as well and did punt return drills.

It was noticeable who wasn't starting as well. Eagles offensive linemen Stefen Wisniewski, Isaac Seumalo and Matt Tobin slipped into second-team drills. Wendell Smallwood got some time with the first time at running back. Brandon Graham was also a second-team defensive lineman with Marcus Smith.
Jordan Hicks and Nolan Carroll did not participate in team drills today as they nurse injuries that are still recovering from the offseason.
The only two Eagles not present at OTAs are Fletcher Cox and Darren Sproles.
