By Paul Bowman, Sports Talk Philly Editor
It took almost the whole week, but the Eagles finally made a move at receiver.
On Saturday, the team promoted preseason standout receiver Greg Ward Jr. to the active roster.

To create a spot, the team place tackle Jordan Mailata on IR.
Ward Will be a welcome addition to the squad that relied heavily on JJ Arcega-Whiteside and Mack Hollins with no receivers behind them last week.
The move is likely bad news for Alshon Jeffery fantasy owners as it is likely it was made with the thought that Alshon is ruled out.
For Mailata, the transfer to IR means he can’t practice with the team and will hinder his development.
