The Philadelphia Eagles selection of North Dakota State quarterback Carson Wentz with the No. 2 overall pick in the 2016 NFL Draft is probably the biggest selection the team has made this millennium, though much of the post-pick press conference focused on another topic.
Vice president of football operations Howie Roseman, who was joined by head coach Doug Pederson, told the collective Eagles media, including Jeff McLane of the Philadelphia Inquirer, that the team doesn't plan to trade current starting quarterback Sam Bradford.

Roseman did also make a point to say that despite the selection of Wentz and the team's off-season signing of Chase Daniel, Bradford is still the team's starting quarterback.

For his part, Pederson said that despite the seemingly growing distraction that Bradford's reported trade request has created, the quarterback will be treated well should he return to the team.

To this point, multiple outlets have suggested that the Eagles have shown no interest in trading Bradford, and only the Denver Broncos have made a call to discuss potentially obtaining to former No. 1 overall pick. Roseman declined comment in the press conference as it pertained to potential trade talks for Bradford.
