With two preseason games now in the books and just three weeks remaining until the Eagles open the regular season, the time has come for Doug Pederson to start making decisions on the 53 players that will make up the roster.
That number is down to 84 as of Sunday afternoon.
The Eagles announced that they have released four players — wide receivers T.J. Graham and Xavier Rush, center Bruce Johnson and running back Cedric O'Neal.
Graham was targeted three times in the Eagles preseason opener and made no catches. He was completely phased out of the offense in Thursday's game.
Rush was targeted once in the preseason opener with no catches but made three catches for 22 yards in Thursday's win in Pittsburgh.
O'Neal had a total of nine carries for 25 yards in the two preseason games.
The moves bring the Eagles roster to 84 players, leaving six open roster spots for any additional moves. The Eagles have until August 30, two days before their final preseason game, to get the roster down to 75 players.
