It's not exactly clear at this time what that "draft compensation" would be if the trade is completed.
Alonso's inclusion in this trade is new, but NFL Media's Ian Rapoport reported that the two sides were 'deep' in talks that would send Maxwell to Miami this morning.
Both Alonso and Maxwell were acquired last off-season by Chip Kelly. Kelly, who coached Alonso at Oregon, acquired him for LeSean McCoy. Maxwell, who was the fourth member of Seattle's "Leigon of Boom", signed a six-year/$63 million free-agent contract with the Eagles this past off-season.
Update: Rapoport is now reporting that the deal has been agreed to in principle.
