According to Philly.com, Walker felt a pop in his knee when he attempted a tackle during the final play of the first half in the Eagles 17-0 win over the Steelers on Thursday night in Pittsburgh.
The Eagles selected Walker in the seventh round of the 2016 NFL Draft out of Oregon. Undrafted free agent Don Cherry out of Villanova played well against Pittsburgh and could get more preseason reps with the injury to Walker.
Philadelphia could also revisit the option of signing linebacker Stephen Tulloch, who they were reportedly in 'heavy discussions' with in early August. Tulloch played three seasons under current Eagles defensive coordinator Jim Schwartz.
