It took over two hours, but the Eagles were finally on the clock in Day 3. They used their first pick of the day to address a need at running back.
With the 153rd pick in the NFL Draft, the Eagles selected running back Wendell Smallwood of West Virginia.
Smallwood is a Wilmington, DE native who rushed for 1,519 yards and nine touchdowns in 13 games in his junior season in 2015.
The new running back joins Ryan Mathews, Darren Sproles and Kenjon Barner as the other running backs on the roster.
The Eagles are back on the clock in just moments with the 164th overall pick.
