It was a busy day for the Eagles and their newest members on Thursday.
The Eagles signed seven of their draft picks selected in the 2017 NFL Draft on Thursday. The players signed were second-round pick Sidney Jones, third-round pick Rasul Douglas, fourth-round picks Mack Hollins and Donnel Pumphrey, fifth-round picks Shelton Gibson and Nate Gerry and sixth-round pick Elijah Qualls.
All deals were for four years.
This leaves only first-round pick Derek Barnett as the only draft pick unsigned at the moment.
In addition to signing seven of their eight draft picks from the 2017 Draft, the Eagles also officially announced the signing of 10 undrafted free agents. Four of those signings — running back Corey Clement, punter Cam Johnston, center Tyler Orlosky and wide receiver Greg Ward Jr. — were already reported. In addition, the Eagles have signed Richmond defensive tackle Winston Craig, Virginia Tech quarterback Jerod Evans, UCLA cornerback Randall Goforth, Shepherd safety Tre Sullivan, Oklahoma defensive tackle Charles Walker and Iowa State cornerback Jomal Wiltz.
Minicamp begins for the Eagles and their newly-signed rookies on Friday.
