Just hours after signing another player off of the Raiders’ practice squad, the Eagles have done the same with Houston.
This time, the Eagles have signed DT Albert Huggins.

The Eagles bringing in two DTs is likely not good news on the injury front with the Eagles top three defensive tackles suffering from injuries in Dallas.
Two new defensive tackles could mean that the Eagles will try the two out and keep the more impressive of the two, but could also mean that the team thinks they will be without Tim Jernigan and either Fletcher Cox or Hassan Ridgeway next week.
As for Huggins, he is a rookie who came out of Clemson this year. He was the forgotten man out of the “Power Rangers”, even though many rated him as a top-20 defensive lineman.
Huggins signed with the Texans after not being drafted, but the Eagles will not hope that he can blossom as many thought he could.
As a backup on the most dominant line in NCAAF in 2018, he recorded 30 tackles (3.5 for loss) and 2.5 sacks.
