It's hard to put a value on hype, but this Philadelphia Eagles team is picking up exposure with each passing victory, now Las Vegas is attempting to put a price tag on hype and expectations.
Prior to the Eagles Snow Bowl victory over the Detroit Lions on Sunday, the Birds were long shots at 33/1 to hoist the Lombardi Trophy at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey this February. However, after a resounding 34-20 victory in eight inches of new fallen snow, the Eagles odds are now 28/1.
As of this week the Seattle Seahawks and Denver Broncos are the favorites in the clubhouse with matching 11/4 odds entering week 14.
The Eagles also moved past the Dallas Cowboys in the odds, as the Birds are now favored (-200) to win the NFC East.
Overall the Eagles have the ninth best chance to win their first Super Bowl according to the oddsmakers in Vegas.
