The Eagles have reportedly started to sign some players to their practice squad.
The first is unsurprising as Mike Kaye of NJ.com reports that the team is signing Boston Scott.

Scott was with the team all through camp and seemed likely to claim a roster spot as a Sproles replacement.
Of course, Sproles re-signed on a one-year deal, making Scott expendable. The team can continue to develop him and keep him around in the scenario that Sproles gets injured again this season.
NFL Agent Mike McCartney reports that Giants 2018 draft pick, quarterback Kyle Lauletta, will be signing with the squad as well.
Excited for @kylelauletta to sign to the @Eagles PS

This is, of course, far more surprising as the team just drafted Clayton Thorson in the fifth-round but instead opted to keep a different developmental quarterback with the team.
Lauletta threw for 453 yards on 62 attempts (37 completions) this preseason. Perhaps more impressive was his four touchdown to zero interception ratio.
The Eagles making this decision shows they are more interested in getting the top players on the squad rather than defaulting their recent fifth-round pick to the squad.
Kaye also reports the team is signing receiver and returner Marcus Green.
Former #Falcons draft pick, WR/KR Marcus Green, plans to sign with the #Eagles practice squad, pending a physical, according to a source.

This move is rather odd considering Scott can return and Greg Ward cleared waivers.
Green recorded one reception for eight yards this preseason. He also lost a fumble.
