Though it's appeared a matter of when the Philadelphia Eagles hire Joe Douglas to head their personnel department since the NFL Draft, we appear to have reached the "when" stage.
According to Jeff McLane of the Philadelphia Inquirer and Geoff Mosher of 97.5 the Fanatic/Eaglesscoutingnest.com, the Philadelphia Eagles and Douglas appear to have agreed to terms for him to join the team's front-office, with an announcement appearing imminent.
#Eagles are close to finalizing hiring of #Bears scout Joe Douglas as "personnel head," NFL sources said. Announcement expected Monday.

Hearing from two sources that it's a done deal between Eagles and Joe Douglas, as @Jeff_McLane said. Announcement should come this week.

Douglas has been the Chicago Bears' college scouting director for less than a calendar year, but previously worked in the Baltimore Ravens organization for 15 years, serving in numerous roles, including being their national scout from 2012 to 2015.
After the Eagles fired Chip Kelly in late December, former general manager Howie Roseman resumed running the team's front-office, though his title remained vice president of football operations. That said, the Eagles made numerous trades of their first-round pick, ultimately moving all the way up from pick No. 13 to pick No. 2 and selecting North Dakota State's Carson Wentz to be their franchise quarterback. Roseman was also heavily involved in the selection of Doug Pederson as the team's head coach, among other important moves this off-season, meaning that even if Douglas really is the guy in the Eagles' front-office now, Roseman may still ultimately receive a majority of the credit or blame depending on how this era of Eagles football turns out.
