Throughout the week, the process of interviewing candidates for head coach is expected have an extensive list and head up quickly.
As of Sunday night, it already had.
Pat Shurmur, who served as interim head coach in Sunday's Week 17 win over the Giants, will be interviewed on Monday. Chicago Bears offensive coordinator Adam Gase is expected to interview on Tuesday according to Chris Mortensen of ESPN.
Also on the Eagles radar are New York Giants offensive coordinator Ben McAdoo and Detroit Lions defensive coordinator Teryl Austin.
McAdoo joined the Giants in 2014 as offensive coordinator under Tom Coughlin. Prior to that, McAdoo spent eight seasons as a position coach with the Green Bay Packers.
Austin started his coaching path as a graduate assistant at Penn State before eventually making the leap to the NFL in 2003 with the Seattle Seahawks. He coached the secondary in Seattle until 2006 before spending three seasons with Arizona from 2007 to 2009 and another three seasons in Baltimore from 2011 to 2013. Austin has been the defensive coordinator with the Lions since 2014. Austin has been a coach on three teams to reach the Super Bowl, the 2006 Seahawks, the 2009 Cardinals and the 2012 Super Bowl champion Ravens.
Other coaches on the Eagles radar include Kansas City Chiefs offensive coordinator Doug Pederson, who was rumored to be among lead candidates, New Orleans Saints head coach Sean Payton, if he becomes available, and Eagles running back coach Duce Staley, who interviewed for the position on Friday.
