News broke on Thursday morning that the Eagles will be sent overseas during the 2018 regular season to play in famous Wembley Stadium against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Jeff McLane of the Philadelphia Inquirer was first to break the news.
The Eagles are one of six teams in the NFL yet to play a game in London, and it was priority of NFL UK to get the final six teams to come to the country in 2018 during the league's International Series.
The Eagles were rumored to play either the Jaguars or the Tennessee Titans. The game was never intended to serve as an Eagles' home game, with Philadelphia representing one of the NFL's largest markets. Jacksonville will be the "home" team.
The Jaguars are the most experienced London team, having played five games in The Big Smoke. The Jaguars are 3-2 in those games.
The news comes on the same day as the NBA is slated to feature a game in London's O2 Arena, a game that the Sixers are set to play in.
Eagles' running back Jay Ajayi is one of three players from England in the NFL. The others are Denver Broncos' offensive tackle Menelik Watson and Atlanta Falcons' defensive tackle Jack Crawford.
