The Eagles are reportedly parting ways with one of their offensive lineman today.

Herremans, selected by the Eagles in the fourth round of the 2005 draft, played in 127 games for Philadelphia.
The 32-year-old missed time in 2012 and eight more last season due to injury. At his age and injury past, it was a smart move for the Eagles to release him. He signed a five-year, $18 million extension with the team back in 2012 and was the longest-tenured Eagle alongside Trent Cole.
According to Jeff McLane of the Philadelphia Inquirer, Todd Herremans had a $5.2 million salary cap figure. The Eagles will save $2.8 mil against cap, but $2.4 will be dead money.
I've been doing this a long time. Since 1988. And @toddherremans is one of the best guys I've ever covered. I will miss him.

Herremans will definitely be missed in the locker room. He was a class act during his Eagles tenure. We wish the best of luck to Todd moving forward!
