The Eagles opened Day 3 of the draft by trading the 113th overall pick to the Detroit Lions for their third-round pick in the 2016 Draft.

The Lions used the pick to select defensive tackle Gabe Wright.

The trade likely comes in light of several offensive linemen being selected just prior to the Eagles pick. Sitting at 113, both T.J. Clemmings and Tre' Jackson were on the board as the pick approached. Both were taken on back-to-back picks, Clemmings to the Vikings at 110 and Jackson to the Patriots at 111.

The Eagles next pick is not until the sixth round at 191st overall, barring another trade that would give the team another earlier selection.
