Eagles Trade CB Eric Rowe to Patriots for Conditional Draft Pick

By Kevin Durso, Sports Talk Philly editor

Last week, it was rumored the Eagles were shopping 2015 second-round pick Eric Rowe. They have found a trade partner.

The Eagles have traded Rowe to the New England Patriots for a 2018 conditional fourth-round pick, according to ESPN Boston's Mike Reiss. The pick can become a third-round pick, depending on Rowe's performance.

The trade initially was reported to include Patriots offensive lineman Josh Kline. However, reports now indicate that Kline is not coming to Philadelphia and won't be part of the finalized trade.

Rowe was a second-round pick by the Eagles in 2015, but struggled to fit in his rookie season. Rowe played in all 16 games last year, varying between the cornerback and safety position, while making five starts. He had 24 tackles, five defended passes and one interception.
