Lehigh Valley, the home for Dream Teams and all sorts of ridiculous predictions, will no longer host the Eagles Pre-Season Training Camp. Instead, the team will move their practices to Philadelphia, splitting time between the NovaCare Complex and Lincoln Financial Field. Only a handful of practices will be held at their home stadium, though they will all be free -to-the-public events.
Some believe this move had to do with the passing of Andy Reid's son, Garrett. Many of the players on the roster were there to witness the event. Perhaps returning to Lehigh would have been too much emotion heading into the season.
One change to look for is the lack of sleeping arrangements in both arenas. Lehigh Valley allowed coaches to control the player's sleeping arrangement during training camp. It will be interesting to see if a hotel is rented out, or some other arrangement is made to keep the players under control.
This will be the first time in 17 seasons training camp will not be held in Lehigh Valley.
