Philadelphia Eagles rookie quarterback Carson Wentz has captivated the NFL world fairly quickly mostly because of his veteran-like command of the team's offense and impressive eight touchdown passes to just three interceptions through the team's first six games. But Wentz's down-to-earth, likable personality has also helped him assimilate into the NFL world.
Prior to the Eagles Sunday Night Football showdown with the division-leading Dallas Cowboys, Wentz stopped warming up and approached a young fan who was wearing his jersey to both sign an autograph and take a picture. The moment was captured by John Clark of Comcast SportsNet Philadelphia:

Wentz doing this before what is the biggest game of his young career shows perhaps his two best traits: his composure and his positive personality. It would be easy (and perhaps fair) for Wentz, prior to playing the Eagles' biggest rival on the league's biggest stage, to be too "in the zone" to even pay attention to the young fan. Instead, Wentz is composed enough to not only take time to sign an autograph for the fan, but to also take a picture and give a positive message to the fan.
Wentz, who was the No. 2 overall pick in this past NFL Draft, has lead the Eagles to a 4-2 record through the first six games of his NFL career. Individually, he's won the Pepsi NFL Offensive Rookie of the Week in three of the six weeks that the Eagles have played, which puts him in the discussion for the leagues Offensive Rookie of the Year with two players he will face off against tonight, Ezekiel Elliot and Dak Prescot.
