The Eagles have made their first of at least 12 moves on Saturday.
According to Mike Garafalo of the NFL Network, the Eagles have waived running back Josh Adams.
#Eagles are waiving RB Josh Adams, source says. He ran for 511 yards and 3 TDs last year but it’s a crowded backfield now. Should have interest on the waiver wire.

While it is certainly no surprise, it isn’t everyday you see an NFL team waive a player who lead their team in rushing their rookie season the following year.
Despite that, there were arguably five, maybe even six backs ahead of him on the Eagles depth chart.
Adams could very well end up with another team like the Texans or Dolphins who have holes at the position.
If he should clear waivers, the Eagles will be able to place him on the practice squad.
With the move, the Eagles have 64 players remaining and 11 more spaces to vacate.
