After the Eagles recently extending long snapper Rick Lovato, it should come as no surprise that the Eagles are looking at extending his closest teammates.
On Wednesday, the Eagles signed kicker Jake Elliott to a five-year extension.

Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network reports that the deal is worth $21.8 million with over $10 million guaranteed.
The #Eagles signed K Jake Elliott to a five-year contract extension worth around $21.8M, source said. He gets $10.45M guaranteed. He’s now the third-highest paid kicker in average per year and in total guarantee.

While Elliott is now the third highest paid kicker in the league, he has been worth it, making all 14 of his field goal attempts and doing it with style.
With the old guard in kickers like Robbie Gould and Adam Vinatteri seemingly losing their effectiveness, young players like Elliott with habe the chance to seize the title of elite for themselves in the coming years.
Punter Cameron Johnston is the last special teamer without an extension this season.
