Today was an eventful day for Sixers fans.
First, we saw a video of Joel Embiid dancing on stage with rapper Meek Mill. This of course didn't sit well with some fans, and the Sixers were forced to say something. What they said was Embiid had a "minor" meniscus tear. Before then, it was just a bruised bone. But, now we know. Fantastic. Here's a tweet from Derek Bodner:
Sources: Joel Embiid has a minor tear in the meniscus of his left knee. Surgery is not required. Details: https://t.co/JxoyodlnkZ

Now, as for Jahlil Okafor…well, it appears he could POTENTIALLY be traded in the near future. There's so much potential that even coach Brett Brown said the team sat Okafor for this game in the event he was traded. Let me see…Keith Pompey has a couple of tweet you should probably look at:
Brett Brown confirms that there were "trade rumors" surrounding Jahlil Okafor before the game. That's why he didn't play.

And then this:
There's a chance that Okafor could sit out the final two games prior to the all-star break due to ongoing trade talks.

Welp, that's about it. It's possible Okafor is traded soon. If not before the break, perhaps shortly after. From those tweets, we don't know what team(s) is involved, although the most we've heard is with the Pelicans and possibly Alexis Ajinca (who didn't play in his recent game) involved and oh my goodness these rumors.
At this point, based off of these updates, the Sixers will be using Nerlens Noel and Richaun Holmes as the centers.
