With nothing left to play for but pride, the Eagles ended their season on a good note.
With the Dallas Cowboys opting to rest most of their starting players ahead of the playoffs, the Eagles were able to take control of the game in the second half and claim a win in their final game of the 2016 season by a score of 27-13 over the Cowboys on Sunday at Lincoln Financial Field.

The Eagles opened the scoring after a 14-play, 79-yard drive that took 8:18 that ended with a 22-yard field goal by Caleb Sturgis. Sturgis' 34th field goal of the season set a new single-season record for the Eagles.
The Cowboys answered with a 49-yard field goal by Dan Bailey early in the second to tie the game. After an Eagles punt, the Cowboys went 81 yards in six plays, capped off by a three-yard touchdown pass from Tony Romo to Terrance Williams.
The Eagles finally responded late in the half, as a nine-play, 49-yard drive was capped off with a six-yard touchdown pass from Carson Wentz to Zach Ertz, tying the game at 10 going to the half.
Another field goal for the Cowboys, this one from 23 yards, opened the second-half scoring, but the Eagles would take control as the third progressed.
A 10-play, 89-yard drive ended with a 20-yard pass from Wentz to Ertz, with Ertz making the diving catch in the endzone for the score.
Sturgis missed a 49-yard field goal early in the fourth, but added one from 33 yards to put the Eagles ahead by seven with 2:21 to play. The Cowboys were forced to punt on their final possession and the punt was blocked, giving the Eagles good field position late in the game. They handed the ball off to Terrell Watson three times, the last being a one-yard touchdown run to seal the win.
