The Philadelphia Eagles got some very bad news this morning, learning that Darren Sproles had not only broken his forearm, but also suffered a torn ACL against the Giants on Sunday. The Eagles defense also lost some of their key players as both Fletcher Cox (calf) and Jordan Hicks (ankle) left the game with injuries in the second quarter. Luckily, their injuries seem to be minor as Doug Pederson indicated they are both day-to-day.

This is great news for a defense that is already without Ronald Darby, Corey Graham, Jaylen Watkins and Rodney McCleod. The Eagles didn't blitz nearly as much against the Giants as they did in previous weeks and once Cox and Hicks went down, it seemed Jim Schwartz played more conservatively with four rushers primarily.
The Eagles head west to play the 0-3 Los Angeles Charges at 4:05 p.m. on Sunday afternoon.
