Every Sunday, we'll pick a Flyers player and one play from the week that serve as our player and play of the week.

This week, our Player of the Week is Jake Voracek. Voracek has two goals on the season, but is up to nine assists following his performance on Saturday. Voracek had a five-game points streak snapped in Chicago on Tuesday, but rebounded for four assists in his next two games.

Our Play of the Week comes from Wednesday's win against the Penguins. On this play, Sean Couturier threads a nice pass to Matt Read who finishes on the backhand. The goal would be the game-winner in the Flyers 5-3 win over the Penguins.

Check back next week to see who takes home the honors of Player and Play of the Week.
