One of the Flyers three remaining restricted free agents is officially returning.
The Flyers and forward Nick Cousins agreed to terms as the forward accepted the team's qualifying offer, GM Ron Hextall announced. The contract is a one-year, two-way deal worth $937,125.
Cousins scored six goals and added five assists for 11 points in 36 games last season, solidifying a role in the lineup.
With the Lehigh Valley Phantoms in the AHL, Cousins was an All-Star last season, scoring 12 goals and adding 26 assists in 38 games.
In his NHL career, Cousins has played in 47 games. All 11 points in his career came in the 2015-16 season.
Cousins was a third-round pick of the Flyers in 2011.
