The Flyers on Tuesday announced six roster cuts, sending players back to their respective junior leagues.
Forwards Samuel Dove-McFalls (Saint John, QMJHL), Connor Bunnaman (Kitchener, OHL), Pascal Laberge (Victoriaville, QMJHL), Carsen Twarynski (Calgary, WHL) and Anthony Salinitri (Sarnia, OHL), as well as goalie Carter Hart (Everett, WHL) were sent back after a brief training camp stint. All players, with the exception of Dove-McFalls, were drafted this year.
Garrett McFadden and Brennan Menell were cut as well, though neither player had a contract with the team.
The Flyers' roster now stands at 56 players, with more cuts on the horizon in anticipation of American League training camps opening on Oct. 1. Their preseason continues tonight, as they welcome the New York Islanders to Wells Fargo Center.
