Flyers Place Weise, Leier on Waivers, 2018-19 Roster Set

With the preseason in the books, the time has come for the Flyers to make the final preparations for the season opener on Thursday. Part of that was making final cuts.
The team sent defensemen Phil Myers and Mark Friedman as well as goalie Carter Hart to the Phantoms on Sunday, leaving one move left to be made on Monday to reach the 23-man limit.
With their final roster move, the Flyers placed forward forwards Dale Weise and Taylor Leier on waivers for designation of assignment to the Phantoms. If and when both clear at noon on Tuesday, they can be sent to the minors and the Flyers final roster will be set.
