The Flyers announced a special alumni game would be held in early February just a few months ago in December. Given the success of the alumni game during the Winter Classic festivities in 2012, the game was almost an instant sell-out.
That game will take place on Friday night at 7 p.m. from Santander Arena in Reading, home of the Flyers ECHL affiliate, the Reading Royals. The final rosters for the Orange and Black Game were announced on Tuesday morning.
The teams are as follows.
Playing for Team Orange are:
- Ray Allison
- Frank Bialowas
- Danny Briere
- Terry Carkner
- Frederic Cassivi
- John Druce
- Todd Fedoruk
- Mark Freer
- Ed Hospodar
- Mark Howe
- Bob Kelly
- Orest Kindrachuk
- Ric Nattress

The Orange team will be coached by Rick Macleish, Don Saleski and Dave Schultz.

- Doug Crossman
- Jim Dowd
- Robert Esche
- Andre Faust
- Larry Goodenough
- Paul Holmgren

- Dave Poulin
- Kimmo Timonen

- Jason Zent
The White team will be coached by Bill Barber, Bill Clement and Brian Propp.
Special guests for the event include PA announcer Lou Nolan, anthemist Lauren Hart and Flyers Hall-of-Famer and team ambassador Bernie Parent. Dave Settlemyre and Dave Culp will serve as trainers for the event.
A limited number of single-seat tickets are still available. All pairs and VIP packages have sold out.
