While a few Flyers are hitting the ice a little early with the World Cup of Hockey, the rest of the team will begin preparations for the NHL season.
Part of those preparations include the team's rookie camp, which this year will take place from Sept. 19 to Sept. 21. Defenseman Ivan Provorov headlines the roster.
The Flyers will have 21 players participating in rookie camp, which will include three practices and one exhibition game against the New York Islanders prospects.

The rookies will practice on Monday, Sept. 19 at 3 p.m. and again on Tuesday, Sept. 20 at 10 a.m. The team will also skate on Wednesday, Sept. 21, at 10:30 a.m. before traveling to East Meadow, NY for the prospect game against the Islanders, taking place at 6 p.m. that night.
All practices will be held at Flyers Skate Zone in Voorhees and are free and open to the public.
