The Flyers rookies will be the first to take the ice ahead of the 2019-20 season with Rookie Camp. The camp will run from Saturday, Sept. 7 through Wednesday, Sept. 11, culminating with the Rookie Game between the Flyers rookies and New York Islanders rookies at PPL Center in Allentown.
The camp will open on Saturday, Sept. 7 with an on-ice session from 9:30-11 a.m. at SkateZone in Voorhees. On-ice sessions on Sunday, Sept. 8 and Tuesday, Sept. 10 will be at the same time. There will be no on-ice session on Monday, Sept. 9 and a one-hour morning skate on Wednesday, Sept. 11 from 10-11 a.m.
The roster is headlined by a number of prospects with hopes of making the Flyers roster for the upcoming season. Defenseman Phil Myers leads a group of 28 players that include 16 forwards, nine defensemen and three goalies.
