Hockey is set to return. The Flyers have announced the roster and dates for training camp, which will open next Friday, Sept. 14.
There will be 58 players participating in training camp — 36 forwards, 17 defensemen and five goaltenders.
The schedule for training camp is as follows:
Friday, Sept. 14
- Group 1 – 9:15 AM
- Group 2 – 12:15 PM
Saturday, Sept. 15
- Group 1 – 9:15 AM
- Group 2 – 12:15 PM
Sunday, Sept. 16
- 8:30 AM – Players not participating in the Flyers preseason game against the Islanders will participate in a scrimmage in Voorhees
Monday, Sept. 17
- 10 AM – Morning skate for players participating in preseason game
- 12 PM – Practice for non-playing group
Tuesday, Sept. 18
- 10 AM – Morning skate for players participating in preseason game
- 12 PM – Practice for non-playing group
Wednesday, Sept. 19
- 11 AM – Practice for players not playing in preseason game that night
Thursday, Sept. 20
- Off Day
Friday, Sept. 21
- Ice Times TBD

In addition, the Flyers will have 22 of those players participating in rookie camp, starting on Monday, Sept. 10. The rookie camp will run from Monday through Wednesday, concluding with a prospect game in New York between the Flyers and Islanders prospects on Wednesday at 6 p.m.
All practices, including rookie camp practices, are free and open to the public.
