After suffering a fifth straight loss on Tuesday night, the Flyers made another roster move with what little space they have to work with against the cap.
Enter defenseman Davis Drewiske, who becomes the latest call-up for the Flyers. Drewiske, 30, played in nine games with the Phantoms, picking up one assist.
As Drewiske comes in for the injured Evgeny Medvedev, forward Chris Conner returns to the Phantoms. Conner was called up on Sunday in preparation for Monday’s game, but never dressed in the Flyers two games since the call-up.
The Flyers return to the ice on Thursday night as they take on the Calgary Flames in the fourth of five games on their current road trip.
