After dropping four straight games, including three in regulation, the Flyers have responded over the last few days with a pair of wins, albeit not pretty ones. Regardless, the Flyers are back in the thick of the Eastern Conference playoff race and have a big weekend back-to-back on the West coast.
The Flyers take on the Arizona Coyotes, the team bringing up the rear in the NHL standings, but the Flyers learned the hard way that a night off against this team will do no good. The Flyers lost to Arizona in their first meeting of the season in October in overtime, managing to get to the extra session only because of a frantic rally in the third. Arizona is also coming off a win in Minnesota where they erased a three-goal deficit.
Game time is set for 8 p.m.

After picking up the win in back-to-back starts, the Flyers turn back to Brian Elliott for Saturday's game. Elliott played very well on Tuesday in Carolina and followed that up with another win over the Canadiens on Thursday.
The Coyotes are expected to use Antti Raanta in goal. Raanta was in net for the Coyotes comeback win over the Wild on Thursday, making 25 saves on 28 shots. Raanta had lost his previous two starts before Thursday's game, including allowing four goals on 23 shots to Winnipeg on Tuesday.
