The new year arrives in less than 48 hours and on the schedule for January is a weekend break where the best in the NHL this season will gather at the All-Star Game in St. Louis. The Flyers will have a fresh face there.
Travis Konecny will be the Flyers representative at the NHL All-Star Game on Saturday, Jan. 25.
Konecny is in his fourth NHL season and will make his first All-Star appearance. He has 11 goals and 34 points this season in 36 games played.
The NHL All-Star Game will officially kick off on Friday night when the All-Stars participate in the Skills Competition. That event will be on Jan. 24 at 8 p.m. The next night, Konecny will join the rest of the Metropolitan Division All-Stars in a 3-on-3 tournament. That will also begin at 8 p.m.
The rest of the Metropolitan Division All-Stars are as follows:

Oshie (WSH). Voting takes place starting on New Year’s Day and runs through Jan. 10.
