Flyers chairman Ed Snyder Voted for the Lockout

Hello Flyerdelphia, please could you answer me this. The owners have been complaining about nothing but money this entire off season.  Obviously in order to have a successful business you need to make a profit but have the owners taken this to far?

Among other things the owners have been talking about taking a percentage out of the players salaries. Now, how does that make any sense? The owners give out these massive lucrative contracts to players and they cry poor? The world does not work like that. If the owners wanted to save money they would not have starting giving out contracts of $100 Mil plus to players anyways.

The fans do not come out to see the owners complain about their "lack" of money, they come out to see the players play. It isn't fair to the players to take money away from them that you gave to them in the first place.

The first time there was a full lockout in the NHL the players got the brunt of the anger from the fans because of the way everything went down. It looks like this time the owners are being to greedy with the money that they have already given out. This time, the owners are wrong.
