It's hard to see things getting much worse than they are for the Flyers, but they do by the game. Following Saturday's lacking performance, everything surrounding this team is in question.
It doesn't get much better on paper, as the Flyers embark on a three-game Western Canada trip that starts against the Calgary Flames on Monday night. Game time is 9 p.m.

Brian Elliott fared slightly better on Saturday, as it was the first game he had allowed fewer than four goals in five starts, but he still took the loss in the Flyers 10th straight defeat. By all standards, Elliott's performance has been adequate, certainly nothing special, but good enough in a number of starts. Despite that, his record is even at 6-6-6 for the season. He's expected to get the start in goal for the Flyers on Monday.
Mike Smith is back between the pipes for the Flames. Smith returned to the lineup after a brief injury in Philadelphia on Nov. 18, making 35 saves in an overtime win. Smith has a 2-2-1 record in six games since and was pulled after the second period in Calgary's 7-5 loss to the Oilers on Saturday.

Lineup Notes
It's a complete shuffle in lines for the Flyers. The top line was split up as Sean Couturier and Claude Giroux remain and Wayne Simmonds moves up. Valtteri Filppula centers the second line with Michael Raffl and Jake Voracek on the wings.
Nolan Patrick centers the third line and is joined by Travis Konecny. Dale Weise and Jordan Weal both took drills on the third line, but Jori Lehtera is the one coming out of the lineup. The best guess would be that Weal plays on the fourth line and Weise slots in with Patrick and Konecny.
Taylor Leier also rejoins the lineup on the fourth line.
Defensive pairings remain the same.
