The Flyers had Monday off, but there were injury concerns that needed to be addressed ahead of Wednesday's game against the Capitals.
GM Chuck Fletcher updated the status of four players on Tuesday after practice.
Jake Voracek – Voracek was a late scratch on Sunday with a lower-body injury and did not practice on Tuesday. Fletcher said that Voracek will be re-evaluated on Wednesday and the hope is to get him back on the ice on Thursday. That would force him to miss Wednesday's game.
Nolan Patrick – Patrick skated on his own before the Flyers practice on Tuesday. Fletcher said he is a possibility to play in Wednesday's game, but the target is for him to be a full participant in Thursday's practice. Patrick left Sunday's game after getting hit in the head with a shot.
Carter Hart – Hart has been back on the ice skating on his own. He did not practice with the team on Tuesday, but the goal is for him to be a part of the morning skate on Wednesday.
Michal Neuvirth – Neuvirth continues to make progress and will have a follow-up appointment with the doctor on Friday, but there is still no timetable for his return.
Prior to Tuesday's practice, the team announced that they had recalled Justin Bailey from the Phantoms to serve as an 11th or 12th forward, depending on the situation for Patrick in Wednesday's game. If Patrick is unable to play on Wednesday, the Flyers will use the 11-forward, seven-defensemen lineup again.
The Flyers host the Washington Capitals on Wednesday night at 7:30 p.m.
