If there's one thing that has been noticeably different about the Flyers this season, it has been an increase of speed to their game.
That has helped them start the season off with a 4-3-0 record, and despite dropping a 1-0 decision to Nashville on Thursday, essentially remain competitive in every game.
A five-game homestand continues on Saturday afternoon against a team that will certainly counter that speed. The Edmonton Oilers pay a visit to Wells Fargo Center. Game time is set for 1 p.m.

The numbers may not be pretty, but Brian Elliott has been in goal for three of the Flyers four wins this season and finished last Saturday's blowout win over the Capitals with 21 saves on 23 shots. After getting two games off, he's expected back in between the pipes for the Flyers.
It certainly hasn't been the best start to the season for Cam Talbot. After opening the season with a 27-save shutout against Calgary, he lost three straight starts, allowing 12 goals in that time. He bounced back on Thursday with a win against Chicago, making 30 saves in the process.
