By Kevin Durso, Sports Talk Philly editor

The Flyers have boasted organizational depth over the years, and while a good portion of it is starting to appear at the NHL level, there is still a lot of it in the minor leagues and among the junior leagues.

Here's the latest look at how some of the Flyers prospects are doing.

AHL

Since opening their season on Oct. 7, the Phantoms have posted a 7-2-1 record in their first 10 games. This included a six-game winning streak that was snapped by the Hartford Wolf Pack in a 5-2 loss on Saturday night.

Danick Martel is off to a tremendous start with the Phantoms. In 10 games, Martel has scored 10 goals and has three assists for 13 points. Mike Vecchione has also started off strong with two goals and eight assists for 10 points in his first 10 AHL games.

Oskar Lindblom has also appeared in each of the first 10 games for the Phantoms, and picked up his first two goals of the season this weekend. He has six points on the young season.

Alex Lyon has also been steady in goal with a 5-2-1 record, 2.83 GAA and .907 save percentage.

The Phantoms are back in action this weekend with a three-in-three weekend. They will host the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins on Friday night, travel to face the Binghamton Devils on Saturday night and then host the Toronto Marlies on Sunday evening.

ECHL

Just four games into their season, the Reading Royals are off to a record-setting start with wins in each of their first four games.

The first three games of the season all went to overtime with Derek Whitmore, Nolan Zajac and Alex Krushelnyski playing hero respectively. In their most recent game on Sunday night, the Royals routed the Adirondack Thunder, 9-4. Ryan Penny had a hat trick in the game.

The Royals play host to the Worcester Railers in three straight games on Friday, Saturday and Sunday this weekend.
