The Flyers roster continues to creep closer to its final state. Six more players will be dropped from the potential Opening Night roster on Friday as the NHL’s waiver period opens.
Davis Drewiske, Aaron Palushaj, Tim Brent, Chris Connor and Jason LaBarbera will all go on waivers. If they clear, they will be assigned to Lehigh Valley.
Christian Marti is also out until November after undergoing shoulder surgery.
This leaves 29 players left on the Flyers roster, which still includes prospects Shayne Gostisbehere and Robert Hagg and former North Dakota product Chris Porter.
